From Our Shrimp Loving Family To You!
2 lb. of Shrimp, peeled and deveined
1/4 cup of Butter
1/2 cup of Onions, diced
2 cups of Sour Cream
1 3/4 oz jar of Capers, drained
1/2 teaspoon Parsley Flakes
1/2 teaspoon of Dill
1/2 teaspoon of Garlic, finely diced
1/2 teaspoon of Seasoning Salt ( I use Tony Chachere’s)
1/2 cup of White Wine
1 1/2 cups grated Cheddar Cheese (If you want to spice it up, use Jalapeño Jack Cheese.)
Wide Egg Noodles
Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
Salute shrimp, garlic and onions.
Transfer into a ungreased casserole dish.
In the same skillet, combine sour cream, capers and dry seasonings.
Blend and heat.
Add wine, stirring constantly.
Pour sauce over shrimp.
Top with Cheddar Cheese.
Broil until bubbly.
Cook egg noodles.
Serve Shrimp over noodles. (Or rice, if you prefer.)
Serves 4 to 6 people
