This carmelized chicken dish makes for a great meal. It’s heavy enough satisfy your stomach but lean enough to where you won’t feel stuffed. Your tastebuds will thank you and so will whoever you’re feeding this meal to!

Caramelized chicken breast:

3-4 chicken breasts
2 packets of dried Italian seasoning mix
1 1/2 cups of brown sugar

1: Preheat oven at 350 degrees
2: In a large plastic bag combine the brown sugar and Italian seasoning
3: Place chicken in bag (one breast at a time) and shake the bag so chicken is completely covered. Extra seasoning can be used to top chicken once in the pan.
4: Once all chicken is covered put in oven for 20-25 minutes (depending on the size of breasts) flip the chicken over and cook for another 20 minutes. Once the 20 minutes is up put oven on broil for 2 minutes to caramelize.

ENJOY!

For a side dish I cut up potatoes, mushrooms and zucchini, coated with olive oil and the remains of seasoning for the chicken and put them in the oven after flipping the chicken. The seasoning and sugar made for a great mix of sweet and smokey.
