A little blond girl appeared at the Pearly Gates seeking admission.
The gate-keeper knelt down and said, “You’ve got to pass a hard test before you can get into paradise. That test consists of three questions.”
The little girl twinkled at him. “Go ahead. You can ask me anything.”
“O.K.” said the angel. “For the first question, tell me which two days of the week begin with the letter T.”
“That’s easy”, said the little girl. “Today and Tomorrow.”
“Hmmmm.” The Angel thought about it, then brightened. “Well I can’t argue with that. Can you tell me how many seconds there are in a year.”
“There are twelve.”
“Twelve? Oh dear… ” exclaimed the angel. “How do you figure that?”
The little girl held up her hands and started counting. “Well, there’s January 2, February 2, March 2…”
“That works!” The angel beamed. “For the third question, tell me God’s first name.”
“God’s first name is Andy.”
“Oh?” The Angel’s face fell. “Why do you say that?”
The little girl tossed her hair back over her shoulder and said, “It’s right there in the song.”
“What song?”
“You know, In church. That song – In The Garden…” The little girl began to sing, “And He walks with me. And He talks with me. And He tells me I am His own…”
