The Secret To Juicy Ranch Burgers

For 12 to 14 patties

Ingredients

6 pounds of ground beef

1 package of dried onion soup mix (1.25 oz.)

¾ cup oats*

½ cup barbecue sauce*

2 eggs*

(* the oats soak up the barbecue sauce, eggs and beef juices – making for a juicy & tasty burger!)

Optional: 12 to 14 slices of sharp cheddar cheese

Directions

Mix together ingredients with hands until evenly combined. Then, form disks ½ inch thick with about a 4 inch diameter.

Grill them on an open fire. Typically 5 minutes on each side, although cooking time strongly depends on how hot your fire is. Place the cheese on the patty about a minute before removing the burgers. Be sure to check the center of burgers before moving them off the grill to ensure that they are completely cooked.

Next, put buns on those patties.

Garnish with lettuce, tomato, pickles, ketchup, mustard, and/or mayonnaise.

Enjoy!
