A Texas man was sitting on the edge of the bed,watching his loving wife, look at herself in the mirror. Since her birthday was not far off he asked, “Honey, if you could have anything in the world, what would you want?”
“I’d like to be eight again,” she sighed, still looking in the mirror.
The Texan’s heart swelled. He decided right then and there, that was a wish he could fulfill. At least, for a day.
On the morning of her birthday, he arose early, made her a big bowl of Coco Pops, and then took her to an Adventure World theme park. What a day! They road every ride in the park; the Death Slide, the Wall of Fear, the Screaming Roller Coaster. Everything!
Five hours later, they staggered out of the theme park. Her head was reeling and her stomach felt upside down.
Then, he took her to a McDonald’s. Ordered her a Happy Meal with extra fries and a chocolate shake.
Next was a Disney movie, popcorn, a soda pop, and her favorite candy, M&M’s.
Finally she wobbled home with her husband and collapsed into bed exhausted.
That’s when the proud Texan leaned over to his wife and asked, ‘Well Dear, what was it like being eight again?
Her eyes flew open and her mouth fell wide.
“I meant my dress size, you idiot!”
