I would like to share a personal experience with my friends about drinking and driving. This might save you the cost and embarrassment of being arrested for DUI! It saved me!
As you know, people have been known to have unexpected brushes with the law, often on the way home from a “social occasion” with family or friends.
Well, two days ago, it happened to me.
I was out for the evening, at a party, and drank a couple more margaritas than I should have….
Now, I still had enough sense to know I was slightly over the limit.
So, I did something I’ve never done before – I took a taxi home!
Sure enough on the way home there was a police roadblock, and they were doing sobriety checks… But since I was in a taxi they waved me past and I arrived home safely without incident.
As these roadblocks can be anywhere, I realized how smart I was to have taken a taxi!
It wasn’t until I woke up the next day that I realized I had one little, tiny problem.
You see… that taxi… Well, I don’t remember where I got it, and now that it’s parked in my garage I don’t know what to do with it.
