David’s Bacon-Wrapped Meat Loaf Recipe

Ingredients

2 eggs

2 lbs. ground beef

2 tsp. fresh horseradish

1 tsp. salt

1 tsp dry mustard

1/4 cup of milk

1/4 cup of catchup

1/4 cup of oatmeal

1 to 2 tbs. chopped green onions or chives

6 bacon strips (uncooked)

(You can add additional catchup or cheese, or both, if you like.)

Preheat oven to 400 degrees.

In a large mixing bowl beat two eggs. Add meat. Mix. Add all other ingredients. Mix.

(Hands are better than spoons!)

Shape into 4 individual loaves. Wrap in 1 1/2 peices of bacon around each loaf. Place on broiling pan.

Cook for about 30 minutes.

(You may choose to add cheese or catchup to the top of meatloaf during the last 10 minutes of baking.)
