A question was asked by one magnificient reader… “Does everyone live on a ranch in Texas?”
I said, “No, only a lucky few.”
To which, this little reader asked, “Where do all the other people live?”
“In the city.”
“Oh.” Came the surprised response. “I didn’t know there were cities in Texas.”
(I confess, I surpressed a smile here.)
“We have a bunch. Houston, Dallas, San Antoinio, Austin… I live outside of Fort Worth. And, those cities are pretty swanky.”
“No way.”
