A young girl enters a barber shop and the barber whispers to his customer. “This is Susie. She’s my granddaughter. She might be gorgeous but she’s the dumbest kid in the world. Watch. I’ll prove it to you.”
The barber puts a dollar bill in one hand and two quarters in the other, then calls his granddaughter over. He asks, “Which do you want, Susie?”
Susie takes the quarters, gives her grandfather a kiss on the cheek, and leaves.
“What did I tell you?’ said the barber. “That kid never learns!”
Later, when the customer leaves, he sees Susie coming out of the ice cream store. “Hey, Susie! May I ask you a question? Why did you take the quarters instead of the dollar bill?”
Susie licked her cone and replied, “Because the day I take the dollar, grandpa will quit playing the game!”
