Don’t Argue With A Kid
A little girl was talking to her teacher about whales.
“Mrs. Batts, wouldn’t it be super cool if I was swallowed by a whale.”
“Lisa, it’s physically impossible for a whale to swallow a human, even a small one like you. Because, even though whales are very large their throats are very small.” Mrs. Batts replied.
“Jonah was swallowed by a whale. The bible says so.”
“Lisa, that’s a lovely story but, even so, it’s not physically possible for a whale to swallow a human.” Mrs. Batts said, trying to keep the irritation out of her voice.
Lisa looked out the window and said, “When I get to heaven I will ask Jonah.”
Mrs. Batts smirked. “What if Jonah went to hell?”
Lisa smiled. “Then you can ask him.”
