The Problem With Going To A Marriage Counselor

The Problem With Going To A Marriage Counselor

After 15 years of marriage, a Texas Rancher and his wife went for counseling. As they settled on the couch, the counselor asked them to explain the problem.

While the rancher sat silent, his wife went into a long tirade listing all of the things she’d endured. She talked, without end, about his long hours on the range, the never ending dust and manure, the years of loneliness and isolation.

The counselor let her talk for an entire hour before he got up, walked around the desk and asked the woman to stand.

When she did, he wrapped his arms around her and kissed her. Deeply. Passionately. As her husband watched.

When the counselor pulled away, the woman was speechless. She sat down, quiet, as though in a daze.

The counselor turned to the rancher and said, “That is what your wife needs at least 3 times a week. Can you do that?”

“Well, I can drop her off her on Mondays and Wednesdays, but on Fridays, I fish.”

Yes, It’s a Classic.
